Proposal One O'Clock Club (Nos. 23 and 27 Crystal Palace Park Road)/Paxton Suite and the hostel at The Lodge/Jubilee Stand and Stadium Stand/buildings at Caravan Club site and dwellings at Nos. 1-7 (con) National Sports Centre CONSERVATION AREA CONSENT

The applications were approved at a full meeting of Bromley Council by 11 votes for to 4 votes against. Following a request by two local people (A Elliott, J Payne), the applications were called in by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. A month-long inquiry was held with the inspector reporting on 26 April 2010 upholding the original approval.

Subsequent appeals (judicial review) ended in the Court of Appeal (Civil Division) and all claims were dismissed by all three judges on 23 April 2013 (full time-line Crystal Palace Campaign website, Item L51).
