Thank you for your letter of 25th January. In my opinion my letter of 14th October 1998 is entirely clear and needs no further elaboration.

I have always made it clear, and made it clear in my letter of 14th October 1998, that the trees at some stage would have to be felled for the implementation of the development in accordance with the planning permission which has been granted.
